I practice packing and repacking, and the tape is reuseable and I replace it often enough. Therefore to access a few "bandaids" or "plasters" should really be no problem....at least it isn't for me. A separate FAK is the first thing to go to, but I always keep about 5 bandages in my survival tin along with 5 sutures, and some Tylenol, antihistamine, and Immodium ...or about, give or take a little, what Wiseman's SAS book recommends. That is all though. And they have !@#$%^^&* come in handy before when I didn't have anything else on me! If you can't fit those in your tin, you definitely need to practice.
