I have the 882 with G10 handles... Mine is kind of weird since I always see them in serrated blade version but mine is plain and I love it. I was trying to get the RSK after it was hyped here so much and to support ETS but didn't like it much. I played with friends RSK after purchasing the Buck and preferences for me are mainly personal and here's what they were:
Lock. I prefer the liner lock over axis lock. I use my blades in weird positions and sometimes my hand slips and it's much easier to disengage the axis lock.
Handles. Like the rough finish on the handles better. The square shape feels much better in my hand.
Blade. The thumb hole is great (better opening when wearing gloves) and that rough surface at the top of the blade alows me to open the blade even wearing the thick fireresistant gloves.
Groves on the top of the blade makes a blade so much steadier in my hand and with thumb placement prevents slipage.
Things I like better because they sound better and hopefully will never had a chance to test: 1 mm extra thickness on the blade. I like the way my Buck holds the edge and how easy it is to sharpen since I did have to sharpen my friends RSK.
In the end I'm not a Strider fan. I'm also not a Buck fan after their rear lock almost took off my finger when blade folded on me. Hopefully you get to handle both blades together before making the choice and compare. Opinions are like noses... everyone has one.
