Anyone have this knife? It's a Night-Hawk folder. Couldn't find it on the web, so I'dd try it here. I bought it as a EDC knife.
The blade is 8 cm long. It has a locking blade and feels pretty solid. It also has a side-clip

homeij is an importer in holland, who also brings knives under their own name. I'm not sure about the steel, but I guess it isn't high end. I'm afraid that the knife isn't as solid as you think it is.

Sometimes it is a case of buying the best of mediocre lot. A RSK is bit out of JIM's price range. A little bit of attention to the edge might yield worth while results. Oh, and respect the knifes limits.
At the end of the day, a so-so knife beats no knife or a pakistan special.

The price isn't, shipping and payment methods are. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

RSK is indeed bit difficult, but their are others knives which are nice priced and could be ordered by company's who offer cod.

i think JIM has a higher budget than i have. He pay's retail price for many things! I don't.

I have had several cheap folder that felt solid when i bought them. After a few week use they generally start to show a lot of play. One of the failed during use and the space thingy in the knife broke off and sliced my hand open. I learned my leason and went for some quality stuff. They hold up much longer and might be actually cheaper in the long run.

The best affordable folding knife you can buy in holland is in mine opinion is the KA-BAR dozier. (noorloos-se has them)

Are you sure you want a 8 CM blade as EDC? looking at your age, you beter have a good excusesif you get stooped by the police.

I heard a line a while back that said "If you don't have much money to spend, buy the top quality gear. You can't afford to replace second hand gear that breaks or wears out."

Not sure how that applies to everything in life, but sure seems to help with knives (up to a certain price point).
