September is National Preparedness Month. The question is, are you prepared? Are you a member of the Church of Preparedness? By that, I mean, have you prepared to either shelter in place or evacuate with adequate survival gear and supplies if a disaster, natural or man-made strikes? The tragedies of Katrina and September 11 are still vivid in our memory, but has it motivated you to do anything? Preparedness is everyone’s personal responsibility, as ETS Editor Doug Ritter notes in his commentary on National Preparedness Month: http://www.equipped.org/blog/?p=25

Equipped To Survive provides independent and unbiased reviews of survival and preparedness gear, as well as information and tips on assembling survival and preparedness kits for you and your family. Doug Ritter provides suggestions for how you can assemble an affordable 72-Hour Emergency Survival Kit at http://www.equipped.org/72hourkit.htm This information ion assembling a 72-Hour Kit is also available as a podcast. The ETS Survival Forum allows you to ask questions and get knowledgeable answers to your preparedness questions. If the question is survival or preparedness, Equipped To Survive has your answer.

The Equipped To Survive Web site is supported by the non-profit Equipped to Survive Foundation: www.equipped.org/etsfi.htm

Ooookay... now it works. Funny that.

Computers can be a PITA, for sure. Although some of us make a living trying to keep them in line! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'll definately pass that post along to some friends. Coincedently, I'm starting my NET training (Neighborhood Emergency Team) in sept also! Looking forward to it.
