I have the earlier version of this bag, which I've used on and off for a few years. It's an okay bag. I like it for the same reasons, ease of carry, but I would say it is overpriced for the quality.

My biggest complaint about the original sandbag was the shape. It doesn't allow you to carry larger, rectangular items like papers or books. Looking at at the shape of this new one, it seems that it must 've been a common compaint. also, if you carry it for long periods, the wide shoulder strap gets hot and sweaty in warm weather, more than a regular backpack. If you carry light loads, then this bag is fine, but if you plan on carrying anything heavier, then your shoulders will appreciate a normal backpack.
