This is probably a little 'preaching to the choir', but...

I just happened to catch the Diane Rehm show on the radio this morning and the guest was Dr. Irwin Redlener, director of The National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University, and author of the book "Americans at Risk".

The discussion concerned national emergency preparedness (or lack thereof) and I found the program to be well worth a listen.
