I wouldn't. I would go with spark-lite tinder tabs because they are very easy to light. Even if I am shaking like a leaf. I would be inclined to drop a couglan's on to the tinder tab to increase the burn time. Or two or Three.
Save the PJ ans cotton wool for non critical firelighting.
