that knife is gross and useless. The user can't use it effectively because it is too bulky. This knife is overloaded for its own good.

I'd buy one just to break it out in that perfect moment while everyone was sitting around a campfire being all serious discussing survival... Just for a laugh.

Back in the days when Brittania ruled the waves, the famous Rodger's had two folding knives that put this one to shame. One of them had a thousand blades! They were purchased by the British Museum when Rodgers went belly up. The best collection of these monstrosities is in a museum in Recife, Brazil. Of course none were meant to be functional, just showing off their trade craft

That's production? Looks like something they put out on the booth for trade shows. If they are selling them, it would be largely useless other than as an amusement or "show off" piece for a collector. I don't see how you could actually use the tools on it safely.

This is being done strictly for marketing purposes, to be used at shows and dealers, though some will be sold to collectors no doubt. If you have to ask the price....

Back in high school, the librarian, who was also my debate coach, had one of those really big SAKs...the one with magnifying lens. He carried that bad boy EDC too. We used to joke about the kids that brought in cases and cases of files for their debates...joked about getting a SAK that had a satelite uplink to access information...this was just before the Internet became every day use in our part of the world.

I lost touch with him, but I wouldn't be surprised to find one of these things at his house!

As a side note, (this has nothing to do with the original post btw) when Doug said "if you have to ask the price..." it reminded me of something. As my wife and I have been looking at houses for sale in our area we see several that have information sheets in little boxes in front of the houses. We have discovered that, without fail, if a house for sale has such an information sheet...we can't afford it!

Aloha Ors,

I think all the houses in Hawaii have that information sheet you mentioned. Our median home price is $640,000. I wish the prices are much much lower when I want to buy. And much much higher when I want to sell. I guess I just want it all.

Reminds me of some of those 2ft long folders that used to be used as a display piece.."That's not a knife..."
