FWIW: If anyone's looking for a small shoulder/waist bag with a little less of a "tactical" look like the SpecOps PackRat or the Maxped NeatFreak, this one looks interesting. There's a review here (along with hot pic of reviewer).

Also, The Container Store has a nice selection of pouches .

Ok, a couple of things... first the person is at least somewhat prepared (though obviously tech gear heavy). I consider that a perfect candidate for this site! Hell, HE might even be on this site already.

Second, yes.... HE.

So, you are apparently making fun of how sexy a dude looks. Now THAT's funny.

Peace. Guy did a good review, I hope he is on this site. In fact, I recommend checking out the Gadgeteer site, there are well written reviews on a whole bunch of stuff (though it's mostly tech gear). It's just that when I finally got to the bottom of the page, I just got a chuckle out of the photo. It's for that reason I try to keep my own mug off the web.

It doesn't look any more or less tactical than the PackRat does. And it doesn't look to be as well made, the material looks much more prone to snagging and ripping.

I've got a purse about that size and it's too small for EDC.

Just out of curiousity, gotta' list of what all you're carrying?

*edit* Oh, wait. Never mind. My brain fogged over for a second. Purses... Women... No sexism intended here, it's just that the average male has to get used to the idea of having to haul a bag around all the time. Most women don't have this problem. In fact, some of the purses I've seen look they're 72-hour bags.

The PackRat does have a "cleaner" look to it than the NeatFreak. The one complaint I've read about the PackRat is that it tends to assume a football shape when full, any experience with this?

Can't speak to the quality of material on the bag I mentioned. Don't have one or plan on purchasing one, just thowing it out there for anyone that might be interested...

I do like the hi-viz material on the inside (like the PackRat) so one can find things in less-than-optimal lighting conditions. That's a problem with the bag I'm using now.
