my main lis for edc carry is as follows:
small folding umbrella, 24oz water bottle , small wallet, nokia cellphone,
keys on 2 rings my work keys, house keys and fob for alarm , Photon (one of doug's), banada, sunglasses, brush, comb, 2 pairs of nailclippers, 2 mini sharpies, pen, few cloth hair ties, maixpads, a 2aa mini maglight, little thing of hand sanitizer, roll of tums, vicks inhaler, handfull of cough drops, roll of cinnamon mentos (candy), various bus schedules, tube of hand lotion, in a an old plastic first aid box containing: small container of chlorpheniramine maleate(anthistamene), few pepto tablets, 5 pepcid ac tablets, 1pack of cold tabs, 3, alcholprep pads, assorted bandaids.) in a ginger altoids tin( couple feet of hemp cord (think macrame), curved sewing needle, mini pocket knife (blade, file, scissors), pair of folding scissors, 1ft of thin cotton cord,18inch or so of glowin dark gimp cord, 2 small pieces of ball chain) in a mini pouch 2 aa batteries, clip for photon light, mini altoids tin( thread wrapped around bit of cardboard, 3 sewing needles, assorted saftey pins,2ft of 18g wire, 1ft of 12g wire) zippered case ( a vial of advil, onr of tyneol, tube of oragel, tube of cortizone creme, tube of tiple antibodic oinment) and often a hoodie. and i'm not done yet finding stuff i need <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Oh, yeah, the Pack Rat can get pudgy if you feed it too much. I don't know about a football, though. It just kinda gets a little wide in tthe middle.

I've been using one as my bag of tricks for a little over a year now. I wouldn't call it EDC, but that's just becuase I don't carry it with me if I'm out stacking wood or mowing the lawn. But if I leave the house, it's with me or in my car.

Thanks, IR. And thanks also for providing a link to your Bag o'Tricks. I need to compare with what I've got already.

Whether it's a bag on your waist, under the desk, or just outside in the vehicle, if it's always there and accessible in a few seconds, I tend to consider it extended EDC.

i actually used to carry far more then that.. I used to carry a bookstyle backpack as a 'purse'. I don't as often due to not wanting to carry alot of wieght due to a bad back and shoulder.
