Are you referring to BSN-Jobst brand "Coverlet" adhesive bandages?

Bah, it's not that bad.

Although, I think my balding has moved to other parts. I seem to recall a lot more leg hair when I was younger.

I've had good luck with 3M Nexcare Active Strips. They're a foam Bandaid-style bandage with a good waterproof adhesive. I wore one for several days of a backpacking trip and it didn't come off until I took it off. It covered a sub-surface boil that was constantly rubbed and sometimes damp. It's not very breathable and retains moisture more than most bandages, but if you really have to keep a spot covered, these work well. I'm not sure I'd put it over a infection-prone wound unless I could change it often.

We don't appear to have Beiersdorf as a brand in the UK, but if the interweb is to be believed, Beiersdorf own the Elastoplast brand which is one of the more popular brands here. Are they distinct brands over there? The packaging certainly looks similar to the http://www.spservices.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/91_240/products_id/2401 elastoplast classic brand here.

Could be, but I'd never trust that even identically named products are the same overseas as they are in the U.S., so I can't really say.

Box looks the same. Perhaps there's been a merger or whatever recently.
