Interesting. And, amazingly enough, perfectly legal in Canada.
Ordinarily, a gun with a less than 10cm (~4") barrel is classed as a "saturday night special" and is completely illegal. Except that this thing only has a muzzle velocity of 130m/s (426ft/s), and is therefore not a firearm at all under Canadian law (firearms have a muzzle velocity of at least 150m/s / 500ft/s).
Anybody know what the effective range of this thing would be? (Effective range in the sense of "range at which you can expect to hit a target", obviously, not "range at which you can expect to have the target notice it was hit").
