I'm so excited about finding this forum yesterday, I'm afraid i'm a pest. Just want to say, for whatever it's worth, that I feel urban survival is important now, as well as wilderness. For example, I have my hurricane kit designed for home or in the car, and focus on streamlining it and providing comforts as well as bare surviving. I'm always trying out battery-operated fans, as that makes a BIG difference in FL. Do those small solar battery chargers for C-cell and AAA batteries really work? That's my next investment.
