How does the Info-Mate emergency radio compare to others on the market? It certainly has some great features, but I don't know about its quality and reliability.

If you google "review info-mate radio," you find several reviews of this radio.

I would personally go with a name brand with an established history, but that's just me. (It has Hitachi electronics I believe, but that doesn't necessarily tell you anything about the radio's quality. Also, Grundig sells a similar, less expensive radio.) And as I've mentioned on this forum once or twice before, the crank/solar chargers features are largely marketing gimmicks, but what the hell do I know? <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
