I want to get a Boonie Hat that is durable enough to use as a paunch (boil water by using hot rocks in it). So it can't have ventilation holes and be made out of funky meltable/toxic materials. Heavy duty cotton canvas, right? I want it to be in ACUPAT (Army Combat Uniform Pattern - the new digital camo.), but I can live with another color. I have seen a waterproof one on U.S Calvary but afraid of what it's made of. Somebody more knowledgeable want to give me some advice?
