Ken, from your posts, are you assembling a boating kit? Sportsmanguide is a well known retailer. Be very,very carefull about surplus. Theres a reason it's surplus. usually it's past it's usefull life, worn beyond reasonable repair or has been superceded with a superior product. Buy nothing rated less than new or excellent. Anything called "G.I. type or style" is salespeak for MADE IN CHINA. Always compare with new commercial equivelents; both for cost and design. There are some deals in surplus, just be very carefull ;O)

I would add to Chris' caution that the folks at Sportsmand Guide are exceptionally customer service oriented. If you have a problem or are unsatisfied with your purchase, they will remedy the situation. <br><br>Also, some of their prices are great and some are just so-so. It pays to know what you are buying and how much it costs elsewhere.
