I just ordered this belt from Pro Survival Kit company. Curious if anyone has it or something similiar.

Also, I plan to "make" that belt from the Paracord as mentioned by a top Brooks Brother Brigade. Curious if anyone has made that belt also.

I've made one of the "Slats" belts, but I haven't found a sutable belt buckle for it. It's fairly simple once you get a hang of it, but it is time consuming. I've usualy just caried it in my pack for extra cord while hiking. It keeps it convienently packaged and tangle free. I am a bit afraid of using it, just because I don't want to redo the whole thing! I guess that could be a good thing so I have it when I really need it.

If you're going to make one, I would recomend paying close attention to repeating the motions the exact same way every time. If not the lines don't match up and may be angled one way or the other. I hope that makes sense.

I made a Slatts belt too... know what you mean about not wanting to unravel it, 100 ft of 550 came out to just over 47 inches. As to keeping the weave straight, keep it TIGHT, and it'll keep itself straight.
