Does anyone have reviews of such survival kits as the BCB com-pac and coghlans large survival kit. I would like to know which is best. Maybe Doug could make a new section for reviews of them. Thanx

Ken, Doug hasn't reviewed the kits you name to date. I have briefly examined both. I assume you are refering to the Coughlans unit in the tupperwear type box, and the BCB unit in the floating container? Just as their smaller counterparts, these kits are literally a mixed bag of mediocre to excellent items. The BCB unit is a little more comprehensive. Again, you will find yourself augmenting and upgrading many of the contents, depending on it's projected service. Personally, I would choose the BCB unit if I wanted a kit ASAP. There are other units on the market, depending on your geographic location and resources.
