If this is still a living issue, I would be willing to buy more than one, but no more than three packs to make this work out. Just need to know how to pay/order and it'll be on it's way...

Here's the current situation. The supplier is unable/unwilling to guarantee that we can print on this stuff with conventional home/office ink jet printers. Basically, the distributor is ignorant and too lazy to research it with their source. Customer service at its finest. I'm not willing to lay out this kind of money with some assurance it will work.
I am trying to find out through other channels. I haven't given up, but it isn't easy...
What about the National Geographic paper? It's similar to Tyvek in properties. REI carries it for less than what the Tyvek order would have cost, so in quantity, you can probably get an even better deal. Would this work for your purposes?
