Anyone have this torch? I've read about it on other sites, but I'd be interested to hear opinions from ETS members.

Been thinking about putting some Peak lights in my collection. I like the reviews I've read, but the one thing that concerns me is the warranty. Most of the lights I've looked at, the warranty is 1 year.

I've gotten used to lights with a limited lifetime warranty, and I'm wondering how much of a factor this is in the decision making process for some of you fine folks out there. I would guess that in general, if there is a defect in the manufacturing, it would present itself within that year. At the same time, when a company backs their product with the confidence of a limited lifetime warranty, it says something about the quality.

For lights, how much of a factor would the warranty be for you?

Flashlightreviews gives it 4.5 out of 5 stars -- pretty good.

I have one of the Matterhorn Ultra single AAA pocket lights and I am very impressed with the quality and the amount of light for it's size. It is quite durable and waterproof enough for most anything except maybe scuba diving. I am waiting for a 1-watt version to come along. Cheers!
