Been thinking about putting some Peak lights in my collection. I like the reviews I've read, but the one thing that concerns me is the warranty. Most of the lights I've looked at, the warranty is 1 year.

I've gotten used to lights with a limited lifetime warranty, and I'm wondering how much of a factor this is in the decision making process for some of you fine folks out there. I would guess that in general, if there is a defect in the manufacturing, it would present itself within that year. At the same time, when a company backs their product with the confidence of a limited lifetime warranty, it says something about the quality.

For lights, how much of a factor would the warranty be for you?

I have one of the Matterhorn Ultra single AAA pocket lights and I am very impressed with the quality and the amount of light for it's size. It is quite durable and waterproof enough for most anything except maybe scuba diving. I am waiting for a 1-watt version to come along. Cheers!
