I noticed alot of mention of cooking oil adding calories and taste to food, which I think is a great idea. I was just wondering how people store or use for oil?
I guess where I'm getting at is for the BOB in the hot trunk. I rotate the oil at home, but:
1. Have not found a small enough retail container of oil
2. If I use a separate container, doesn't the "shelf life" reduce dramatically (especially in a hot trunk)?
What do you guys do.. My mother mentioned that when she was young (before she had refrigeration), she would store pig fat in the open. As a "spoiled urban-ite" that has always had refrigeration, I am at a loss here.
