So I've gotten fond of organizing things in Granite Gear Stuff Sacks. I've got several, in different sizes, and it's getting difficult to remember what is in each.

I'd like to come up with a labeling system that will allow me to easily identify what is in each sack...maybe something I can put a few words on, like "computer accessories", "paracord" etc.

I would like suggestions for something compact, cost effective and weather resistant.

some idea's:

- Buy diffrent colour stuff sacks. Use each color for diffrent things.

- Buy waterproof marker and write on the stuffsack.

- Attach little plastisized cards to the draw cords.

- Tape colored tape on the stuff sacks.

Use sheet labels of a desirable size, a PAINT pen (not felt-tip markers -- they fade), and once you have the paint dry, have them laminated and cut them apart, add holes, attach with zip ties.

On a lot of military gear they use hook and loop patches.
