Ok. I have 5 weeks to prepare. Has anyone been to sleeping Bear Dunes? I see so many options they have.

I would like the "RUFF STUFF". No bathrooms, no electricity, just a backback. From everything I read on this forum, I can have everything I need in a backpack for 3 days easy. Or am I wrong?

Any suggestions at all would be highly welcomed.

Sleeping Bear Dunes is a park, not a wilderness area. I for one wouldn't want you or anyone taking a dump in the sand that my kids will be walking through.

Have a great time camping there, but please, use the latrines provided by the park.
