Hi,

Do you edc a camera?

If you do, what brand and model do you carry?

Regards,

B.

I carry a camera phone, its only 640x480 but I have a relative who still used one of those stupid Sony floppy disk cameras and my camera phone takes better pictures.
Wife carries a Nikon coolpix 5600 in her purse.

I carry a Sony DSC-W5 digital camera at work for the Forest Service. It's a fairly rugged, 5 mega pixel camera. I also keep it in a Pelican 1010 series case for extra protection.

Used to EDC a 23 shot, throw away type. Now a camera phone. Three mates have the smaller Canon's. Well impressed with them!! Quick focus, light, small and high res. Well worth it!

Camera phone..nothing fancy, but would allow me to take pictures of accidents..stuff like that. It's an AudioVox phone..and I highly recommend that you get a different one. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I carry the Panasonic TZ1. Might not be as compact as the Canon Ixus series BUT where the TZ1 really shines is the 10x optical zoom with OIS(optical image stabilizer). I hv own many compact camera before this and I can say the TZ1 is the best. Movie mode is one of the best.

Yes I do. My Canon PowerShot SD100 Digital ELPH rides in my shoulder bag with a 256 MB memory card and spare battery. Handy little devil. It's my first and only digital camera. I'm hoping to upgrade...sometime. Maybe to a Canon A620 or something.

Used to EDC a Minox C, but it got stolen. Any camera larger than that hasn't been worth EDC'ing. I do have a small digicam that I carry if I think I'll use it (Canon A530). One of these days I'll probably get a phone camera. I don't exactly EDC a cell phone either, though.

I have a FujiFilm FinePix A345 camera. I bought it so i could have a camera that ran on AA batteries for deployments and backpacking. I keep it in my SHTF bag in the truck with me. Great camera, not as nice as some of the more expensive ones out there but for $150 it is perfect for my applications.
