I've worked in a tattoo shop, and that's what I've noticed and the others in the shop too. Who knows, maybe it's the brand we used. I only really ever do drawing anymore. I'm stil in there regularly, but never clean stuff or anything like that anymore. It's been a while since I was last in there.

Yeah it's better that the whole thing opens up like a zipper when there is a hole. Got a hole, clean up and reglove. Let's you know you've got a problem.

I usually carry some gloves in a survival kit. Even if I have nothing else to put on my hands, ie a decent pair of gloves, a pair of nitrile gloves will at least offer a modicum of protection from wind chill and retain at least some body heat. I just carry two pairs in case.
