If your in doubt about the can, substitute a tin mug for boiling in. I would also think very seriously about getting the knife out of sight. No point in advertising what you have. Otherwise some [censored] is going to point at you and go " Oh My Gawd, He's Got A Knife!" Which is the last thing you need when things are going pearshaped. Other than that I am impressed.
