I've been inspired by reading here about all the different ways you folks carry your FAKs. I found these digital media cases recently and thought they might make good FAK pouches:

An execllent idea. Just enough room, fits on a belt loop and looks 'normal.'

Great Idea!!
Just enough room to carry a decent, organized FAK.

And small enough not go anywhere.

I think you guys are ignoring the price.

Look at those that already come with supplies:
http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/first%20aid%20kits%20main/amk_go_kit.htm

http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/first%20aid%20kits%20main/amk_trail_kit.htm

Dont get me wrong Tenba and LowePro make great cases and I've been using their stuff for photo equipment since forever but they are on the expensive side.

Still they are stylish and functional and it is a good idea.

These are really nice. I hadn't seen them before. Unfortunately, they're sold out. Any other sources for these?

You can buy AMK kits at REI, Campmor, LL Bean, Cabelas, EMS.......most outdoor shops that deal in backpacking / camping gear.

Shop around the various online retailers. Some will stock some of the AMK kits but not the one you want, others will have what you need. I picked up an AMK Comprehensive from Campmor for the home (think earthquake kit) and an Ultralight .3 from REI for EDC. The larger Ultralights like the UL.9 have a lot of stuff, but lack good organization. YMMV

Dang it, you guys! Now you've got me redoing my FAK again. That always happens when I visit ETS.

Thanks for the great ideas!
