I wasn't smart enough wrt First Aid to build my own kit(s), so I just went with
DR's recommendation, specifically <<The "Fundamentals" and "Backcountry" are the best choices from Adventure Medical for inclusion in a survival kit.>> Looking around at the usual places I shop online I found the even bigger "Comprehensive" at Campmor and went with that for a home kit. If anything bad happens the few extra dollars paid will be insignificant and space is not an issue.
I did have a space constraint in my EDC backpack which the UL.3 fit perfectly. I added a few items to bring contents up to UL.5 spec and it still fits.
I'm thinking that the UL.9 bags that came with the AMK Comprehensive kit will be used to build a third kit for camping and long hikes. Keep it light but more capable that the UL.3+ that I EDC.
