I passed my highschool-exams a couple of weeks ago (good grades!! no more school, no more school!! )
Anyway, on my school, we desided that our class would go on some kind of 'goodby camp'. So we went to a outdoor centre with a attached camp-site)
There were about 28 kids in my class and 3 teachers. You guess how many kids were carring a flashlight? And a knife?. Yep no knifes, two flashlights . (I carried 2 knifes and about 5 flashlights....and PSK,FAK, firesteel, survival bag, etc.)
I can understand why some people didn't carry a knife, but no flashlight? That's a bit stupid, don't you think?
Guess how many people needed my stuff? everybody! People to the toilet: needed a flashlight. Opening beer-bottles (teachers brought those ): Needed my Wave. Making a camp-fire......
Well at least it was very nice with eachother and we had a good time, sitting by the campfire from 8 PM till 5 AM (bbq'' ing by 3 AM)
I also found out that my Geoghrapy-teacher (who I knew for 4 years) was also interrested in survival and the outdoors. (wish I knew that sooner, he might even be looking on this forum.....lol.)
It was a cool experience,
JIM
