It's not sold to be eaten. Don't huff the fumes. When used properly it's not overly dangerous. There are a ton of things in stores that are toxic when not used properly. If you drink coleman fuel - I'd venture to guess it would be Toxic. Be careful handling it and follow the instructions. I'm glad we still sell toxic substances - I already have about as big a belly full of the Nanny State as I can handle.
