Gentlemen,
A Happy Father Day to You All! My wife & stepdaughter's surprised me this morning.....a khaki maxpedition fatboy jumbo S-type! I hope All of you have done as well if not better!!!
Now this put's me where I need your suggestion's please....the wife and I both are disabled with mobility problems. We almost never go out without each other.....
In an Urban enviornment, what would you suggest I pack this Fatboy with, in regards to the both of us? She has had a hip replacement, and I have had my neck and lower back broken....we both must use a cane to walk......and are limited to walking very short distances. I do not want to tie up this forum, so if anyone has any idea's, please feel free to message me at any time!

Thank You!!!
Krell

Just a few things that popped into my head: (I'll preface this with the comment that I am not familiar with the size of the bag so please forgive if I under/over estimate) (and enough for 2)

Water, FAK,Cash (amount to be determined by you), Cell, Whistle, Compass ,Flashlight,Fire starting (ie lighter etc) Cover (ie blanket/windbreaker... whatever you prefer), some snacks (yes I have kids).

I'd include extra prescribed pain meds (obvious reasons) as well as a list of my meds (with dosages and times per day) (though I think EVERYONE should carry their own lists). I'd also have my doctor's name and numbers on that list.

Hope this helps some.....

CJK,

Help's Some.....not at all....Help's A LOT! I take so much Morphine and Oxycodone, that I have a real short term memory problem. Your list here gives me something I can print and use for reference!

I really do Appreciate you taking the time and effort to send me your idea's! Maybe sometime along the way, I can return the favor!

Thank You!

Another thing I thought of and forgot to mention....umbrellas. I use to laugh at some of the people down here in FL who walk around under an open umbrella in the sun. Until I had to 'improvise' a shelter on the beach for family who are sun sensitive. (yes I know it reflects off the sand too......I needed something.) That umbrella provided A LOT of shade and cooled off several family members. The temperature was noticably a few degrees cooler. Now I try to make sure I always have at least a compact one handy. Doesn't take up much space and can keep you dry or provide shade.....looking back I think I remember that I think I saw it in an "outdoor" book under survival gear.

Yeah, and when it pours you look like a dry genius.
