I noticed that there recently haven't been any new subjects or projects on the ETS-site. And allthough Doug and the guys are probably busy with making new ones, I would still like to ask you for any suggestions: What should the next subject/project be on the ETS-site? 2 of my own suggestions:
- A expension of the PSK/cargo sized-survival kits evaluations. (I really like those already evaluated, but there are probable much more kits available for testing.)
- something similar, but then for medical kits.(pocket-sized and ''home-kits''.
Thanks,
JIM

First importent thing, is that quality should have the priority over quantity.
But it might be possible to speed things up, with more people volentering to write thing. The hazard of that is quality control, since "good" is a relative term and you get a mixure of backgrounds and personal preferences.

Yep,
Testing requires that the person doing so has experience with the equipment, can make unbiased assessments, and can write it up in an intelligent and hopefully useful manner. I think a lot of folks like what Doug writes simply because he's clear, honest, and has a lot of credibility. Doing what he does requires money and time, so I'm happy to have access to what is already there. Of course I'm like JIM and others in that I'm sure we all would like more. One thing I would really like to see is a bit of a reorg/redesign. That's probably something with which I could help, but again, you are left with quality control and personal preferences. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> But I would certainly help out if I could.

Being a Newbie, there's one thing I've noticed that's pretty well common to everyone here in the Forum's......Everyone is in a constant state of flux, as to modifying and improving their carry/equipment!
So......what about a "Swap Meet"?.....NOT a place for companies or manufacturer's, but just for the Gentlemen and Lady's, wanting to Buy, Trade, or Barter their excess gear and equipment or service's!
A Common trait among ALL of you, that I have noticed, (besides wanting to be prepared for whatever comes your way), is wanting to Help and Advise each other! In my short time here, I personally have learned so much, it makes the Survival Training I had in the Army look minimal!
You all are already sharing knowledge and idea's.....so why not a "Swap Meet"? Someplace to get rid of last year's outdated model flashlight, porta-potty, whatever........It's just an Idea.....
