You could always look into an emergency generator that's dedicated to keeping the pumps running in the case of a power outage I suppose. The fuel supply for the generator is right there on hand. If you run out of fuel to pump, then it won't matter if the generator can't be refueled. It's kinda cyclical and all (pardon the pun). <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
