it's all in the packaging. I have a Photon II stuck into my PSK rather tightly. Getting it to pack down without something pressing on the button was some work but it turns out that thing is rather well designed to lay against any thing flat without being triggered. I simply placed the large safety clip accross the top of the switch side to make sure that nothing pressed the switch. As for it going on in the pocket, Is you pocket very tight? Do you carry a bunch of other heavy items in there? The temporary press for light switch might be triggered but I would assume that within a short time whatever was leaning in that direction would shift off and the problem would not amount to much of a drain. It is possible that you had the light switched on with the latch and stuck it into you pocket that way.
