I have the AMK biv bag, they are great. Much better than space blankets, though the new heat sheet from AMK is good too. If you carry both and fly the heat sheet as a tarp, this system would be pretty good against unexpected wet and cold. Cheaper than a silnylon tarp and proper bivy bag but not as durable.

I have no experience with either one, but this may help. I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, but it looks very similar to the picture of the Hydrastorm filter. Good luck.
