It seems nifty enough, but claims of the effectiveness of some of the components is a little high. A dog tag knife and a dog tag signal mirror are, IMHO, not adequate. I imagine that members of this board would rather make their own rather than line someone else's pockets. Also, the LED light is optional which makes this not a real bargain.
A while back, a few threads were run on the concept of mega-keychains. This is in the same vain and might stir up a new group brainstorm.
IMHO, I personally will stick to my mega keychain with:
1. mini Fox40 whistle
2. Uncle Bills Tweezers with 3. Suunto watchband compass clipped on.
4. 2 safety pins
5. Doan mag flint cut down to 2.5" by 0.5"

I have the solution and you saw it here first!
I tested a BCB wire saw of my own with some small diameter tygon tubing I bought. The tubing was purchased at Home Depot sold as lawnmower fuel line, 24". I imagine this is the same diameter as supplied with Ranger Rick's concoction. It is adequate to just feed the saw into the tubing, bend over the exposed wire saw on both ends and crimp it slightly 1 to 2 inches from both ends. Feed the free end of the saw back into the tubing so that 1 to 2 inches of the free end is in there. Do this with both sides. I did this and it held over 60 lbs! (It didn't fail, I gave up!) Connect the two loops with a short lenght of ball chain and suspend your goodies from the middle. In this case, you can save that valuable tubing for some other use.
I have to say that Ranger Rick's suggestion to sacrifice the tubing to get the saw to work is a pretty lousy solution and runs counter to survival philosophy of conservation of resources. I don't know if my expedient solution will be pressed in to service carrying alot of stuff, but it will probably be my new way to carry a neck knife. Andy
