raider,
Sir, your 2"x3" glass signal mirror is the best possible mirror available. The Ritter PSP mirror is of equal quality and lighter but scratches easily. Put some Gaffers tape around the foam pouch to protect the pouch and mirror. Put a thin cord on the mirror and be happy! You can spend more money and get something of lesser utility but why? The plastic mirrors like the BCB and StarFlash use a reflector that is not much more reflective than aluminum foil. I bought both and gave them to my boys to play with. I have two of the Ritter PSP mirrors, they are excellent! I also bought everyone (6 people) in my family a 2"x3" glass signal mirror like the one you have.
Try this for yourself:
Take your glass 2"x3" mirror and any plastic mirrors you can get your hands on and reflect the sun on the side of a building. You will see that the glass mirror has a bright well defined reflection and the plastic mirrors have a scattered blur of light. Also the aimer in the center is superior to almost all other signal mirrors.
You have the best possible signal mirror in your hands and it will work great for shaving. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
