apparently bed bugs are making a comeback. they were virtually erradicated by the 1950's because of routine use of strong pesticides in homes, hotels, etc. i first read about them in a cnn article. basically, bed bugs are hardy blood suckers that can live up to 1 year without feeding. they tend to hide in every conceivable crevasse, hitch rides on people luggage and clothes, (yes, they'll come home with you) and at night, come out to feed. and it gets even better. the new bedbugs are fairly resistant to pest control chemicals. if you wanna be creeped out tonight, read the abc news article.
