I have a concealed carry license and usually have "something" handy. Probably not an option for a lot of people. So next best would be pepper spray. You can get the smaller key fob pepper sprays and make it part of your EDC. Use the pepper spray before the situation gets completely out of hand and you probably won't be running for your life.

Snigger. Almost as good as having a SWAT team on call.My experience of these matters is that Hell's Angels are very rarely a problem. They are so tough that they don't need to come the hardman. Most of them have a very strong sense of fair play and loyalty. As you found out. If you can talk bikes with them, so much the better. And your perfectly safe in a bikers bar. A bar full of city slickers or frat's is a damn sight more dangerous. Mostly because they think that they are above any consiquences. Or the law for that matter.

I'd much rather be in a bar full of bikers than a lounge full of lawyers... less venom, and I prefer the smell <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Feel free, I stole it from one of my cousins.
