I've seen a lot of small kits lately, designed by AMK for one specific use. I've seen these: Pocket Medic, Dental Medic, Wound closure kit, Dental Medic, Suture/syringe Medic, CPR Medic, Paddler Medic and the Blister Medic.
Are there any more? They are great as a present!

Are these like Chipokomon? You gotta collect them all?

I don't really understand the point of these kits. Why carry a dental first aid or a blister kit without also carrying general first aid items? And it doesn't seem practical to carry several of these pocket kits instead of one kit with the items combined.

Well, for one thing, being that they're compatmentalised, replacement/resupply is a lot easier and cheaper... replace the component you use instead of the whole kit. And there's also the fact that many folks don't realize the need for an entire kit. These "specialty" kits fill the niche for athletes, hikers, comuters, and a whole lot more... they're not just marketing to ETS members...they're shooting for a much larger demographic

These kits make alot of sence if you look at them from the point of view of an add on to AMK's other kits. It allows the user to customize their kit to their needs.

My FAKs are "sectorized" or layered similar to this. for example, while I carry my dental and suture kit on long trips and travelling, I don't carry these items on solo day hikes or runs.

AMK's Pocket Medic is a pretty darn good EDC FAK for a commerical kit. It is 100% better than what most poeple carry, nothing, and is a great platform to build-up a personallized small, pocketsized EDC FAK.

I would hope that anyone who carries these kits has first gotten the correct education and training, so that when using them, they don't make a bad situation worse.

The dental kit is nifty for anyone, becuase a lot of the stuff in it you generally aren't going to find as easily or in small bulk.

The blister kit might not be a bad idea for those of us who work in offices- 50 minutes by train, 14 hours by foot, yeah, you're going to have hot spots.

And the pocket medic is a natural budy for the PSP. Same size, slip one into each side of a jacket, and you are mostly set.
