I do not know if any of the PA forum members are working on this possible plane down. As part of the Maryland State Police HEAT Team I have been on stand-by for the last several hours.

"HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - Search crews have been searching north-central Maryland and south-central Pennsylvania Wednesday for a small plane that's been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
The Cessna 172 plane, piloted by David Weiss, 72, of Bethesda, took off from Gaithersburg Airport about noon Tuesday and was scheduled to return about 2:30 p.m. Last contact with the plane occurred about 12:17 p.m.
Teams from Civil Air Patrol wings from Maryland and Pennsylvania began searching around 10:30 p.m., said spokesman Maj. Wes LePre. The major said ground crews are headed Wednesday morning to a region near Chambersburg, Pa. for a closer look at what he described as "some clues," but he said authorities have no indication of the whereabouts or fate of either the pilot or the plane.
Weiss was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, but he was not flying one of their planes or participating in a Civil Air Patrol activity, the organization said in a release. He was last seen at the airport conducting a routine preflight inspection, leading authorities to believe he was flying alone.
The blue and white Cessna Weiss was flying was operated by the Congressional Flying Club, authorities said."
