According to TADgear.com, "DUE TO THE PASSING AWAY OF THE PRINCIPLE OWNER, WSI IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS AS OF APRIL 2006. AT THEIR SUGGESTION, TAD GEAR WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER MANY OF THEIR SAME GREAT PRODUCTS."

Also, wildernesssurvival.com is no longer active.

Thought you folks should know.

<img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Chris Janowski was a great guy to talk to and generous. His Ranger knife by TOPS was a unique take on survival blades ( and one I failed to acquire.) I hope Chris' spirit is somewhere nice making camp .

I met Chris when I was stationed in Alaska, He was a great man and will be missed. He passed away April 2.

Also Gene Ward of safetyandoutdoorsurvival.com passed away February 8.
