I was looking for the same thing. Here is what I bought :

Spyderco Bill Moran drop-point knife, made of VG-10 steel. Blade length is 3 7/8". I like it a lot! It comes with a Tek-Lok sheath which allows you to mount the sheath according to your needs. Great outdoors knife if you ask me. It does not seem to be very popular though, unlike the Benchmades. People seem to buy Spyderco for their folding knives, not fixed blades. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
