If you plan on storing personal information on GMail, you must encrypt it. Google routinely scans GMail, obstensibly for the purpose of sending you more targeted ads.

Seems to be non-functional as of 16 April 2006, but will keep trying. Google may be blocking it. Could also be operator error.

There is no need for any special feature IMHO. To store something, you can always e-mail it to yourself.

I wouldn't. Tried saving some mail in hotmail years ago and one day logged in and it was gone with a nice note saying they were aware of the problem, never did get those messages back.
When you use those free services there is no gaurentee that the data will stay there. I'd be surprised if they even bother to do backups.

True, but drag-and-drop is fun to play with. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If one's emotional age is about 9 years old, as is mine. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
