At about 3" long it's a bit short for real prying. It's quite wide and thick, making it a bit heavy for a keyring or wallet. The cap-lifter comes about half-way down the side, meaning you lose half the leverage, and its opening is too wide, so you lose even more. I find I get almost no mechanical advantage from the cap-lifter.
