Skimmed through this and thought it was interesting. More evidence for my wife that I'm not completely paranoid!

I just wonder how many people will now have a can of 'bear' pepper spray in their car awaiting its use on people? Doesn't that stuff say NOT to use it on people?

just got threw the intro and already found a mistake.

But even dedicated survivalists who stock their homes with 100 gallons of water, enough MREs (Meal, Ready to Eat) for the 82nd Airborne and 500 rounds of ammo have long periods when they are completely vulnerable: When they're in their cars.

Most of us already carry that in are cars. and Only 500 rounds ammo. lol

Now that I finished I am impressed. Obviously some flaws but for the person who has little or nothing it is a very informative peace.

It also got me thinking again about cars and fluids and containers. I will post more in a new thread latter.

Isn't bear pepper spray and assailant pepper spray the same thing, except the bear spray comes in larger containers, with the warning that it may not work? (Unless you're thinking "crowd control" )

I love this line:
..."Wear your seatbelt? Don't begin a survival experience with a spurting artery."

Seems like good advice.

Good article. I've never heard of or thought of storing batteries backwards in flashlights to keep them alive before. But what is "Headliner material" (in the conclusion)?
