New Water Purification

Anyone know if these are available in the states yet?

Sounds like R&D, but if someone really wanted to, they could go prowl through P&G's website. Odds are, if you asked, they'd send you a copy of that news blurb, but who knows, you could get lucky.

The iron(II) sulfate is interesting. It's a flocculant--it causes small particles of gunk to join together into larger particles of gunk that settle better and are easier to filter out. Your local water purification plant probably uses some kind of flocculant when it's turning raw water into drinking water.

i agree with wayne..with the directions given it sound like the south african (chlor-floc) tablets/powder......these have now been around for a few years....we also had the tablets in the ARMY, they were a bit clumsy to use in the field because you had to strain the water from one container to another....other than that they work fine...vince g. 11b inf...
