Has anybody has any experience with the Craftman LED flashlights. They are sold at Sears and K-Mart for less than $13.00. I think they are either 2 AAA or 2AA?.

Haven't looked at the craftsman lights, but I really like the River Rock 2AAA that Target sells for about $10. It's been my EDC since Christmas. Good light and hard to beat for the price.

I've got one of their fat AA Maglite size 1 led lights from a couple years ago. IIRC it's a 1 watt led. If you take it apart, its made like a C/D size Maglite bulb. It uses 3 AAA in a battery carrier. It throws a good spotlight beam with a very usable side scatter.

I second the River Rock 1/2 watt 2AAA's at Target. I have literally dozens of LED flashlights (no kidding) and that Target one is the one I throw in my fanny pack for EDC. I have lights that cost considerably more, but nothing comes close in bang for the buck. The cost - size - brightness - quality - standard_batteries combo is unbeatable in this little light. Found at Target none the less!

Hi izzy:
You mentioned a Dorcy 3-LED 1.75" 1AA.
I saw a Dorcy 1-LED about 3.5" and it was 1AAA. It was also aluminum blue with black rubber around. Could it be that the description you gave is wrong or there is such a thing?
By the way, when I mentioned the Craftman I saw, I said it was a 3-LED and I was wrong, I double checked and it was only a 1-LED. Can you check yours and let me know if it is the same Dorcy we are talking about? I thank you in advance.
