I am looking for a fresh water bladder.
This summer Gloria and I will be living in the Maine woods a long way down a bumpy dirt road. We will have to transport our water. For the past several years I have used 5 gal NATO water bladders which are very tough, but quite heavy. They work well, but the handling of 5 of these is a bit of a chore. I would like just one big heavy duty bladder. I will probably fill the 5 others as a hedge against failure of the larger bladder.
I am looking for something about 40 to 60 gallons that is strong enough to be put into the bed of my pick-up and bounced down the dirt road for an hour or so. I would like the bladder to be intact when we arrive at the camper. This is not easy.
I have looked at the Aquatank 2 and find it lacking for my application. I don't think it will survive such rough treatment. I see several other brands available, but am looking for first hand experience with particular brands. Solid containers are not useful as I need to be able to roll the bladder up and get it out of the way when not in use.
Any suggestions based on experience?
